We charge $185 per tested backflow. This includes electronic filing of your test results on site via mobile app.
If you have more than one device that needs testing we offer a $50 discount on subsequent tests or $135 each. IE two tests would be $320 total and includes the SFPUC tag tax starting in 2025.
You can determine the number of tests required from the SFPUC notice or call 650-652-3199. You can also email backflow@sfwater.org. If you do not have the paper notice you will also need the PIC# which is unique to your account and physical address. The PIC# is how we enter the test results via the SFPUC web portal.
